This past Saturday at the Sherwood Pines British Gravel Trophy delivered fast racing, dusty gravel, and a stacked field of riders pushing hard from the start.
Â
Among them was Melissa Denman, who put in a powerful ride and secured 2nd place in the Senior category and 3rd place overall — an impressive result in a highly competitive field.
Sherwood Pines is known for its fast gravel tracks, flowing forest sections, and relentless pace. Riders need not only strong legs but also the ability to stay smooth and efficient over changing terrain. Melissa delivered exactly that, holding a strong rhythm throughout the race and fighting her way onto the podium.
Finishing 3rd overall highlights the strength of her performance across the entire field, while 2nd in the Senior category confirms her place among the top competitors in British gravel racing.
Results like this don’t happen by chance. They come from consistent training, smart preparation, and equipment that performs when it matters most.
Congratulations to Melissa on a strong race and a well-earned podium.Â
We’re excited to see what the rest of the gravel season will bring.
